Its located at Lalbaug in Mumbai, the Ganesh idol established here during Ganesh Chaturthi festival is popularly known as Lalbaugcha Raja. It is visited by millions of people during the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal has a website, with photos and facts about the actions for Ganeshotsav. The Lalbaugcha Raja mandal was established in 1934. It is believed that by praying to the Lalbaugcha Raja one wishes will be fulfilled. The main attraction here is a golden crown of two kg, golden bracelets and other gold ornaments.
